ABOUT ME:
My name is John and I run this site. All the projects on here
are by me. The main thing I enjoy doing is creating art.
The main art I enjoy creating is music. I have been writing
music for only only about 2 years now. I started
turn around, dont drown back in July of 2025. (for legal
reasons it is not associated with the NWS). I create music that is
"weirder". Genres include sound collage, noise, slacker rock,
folk, and much more. I also enjoy taking photos. I'll eventually
get around to hosting those photos on here.

If you would like to contact me, I'll figure that out soon.
As of writing this, I am too lazy to create an email
for this right now. I'll do it soon, I swear.

WELCOME TO THE DARK GREEN SHANTY:
This is my own personally website purpsed as a cerntral home
for all my projects and anything that interests me.
This website is named after the photo to the left, which
features a building that resembles a shack / shanty that is
dark green This website is an incredibly simple static website
hosted via github pages. the website looks very primitive on
purpose. I don't hate anything more than generic corporate
looking websites, and uh, well, I am obviously not exactly
a graphic designer. Links to my profiles are projects
